When do I need a cat ladder hoop?
Typically above a certain climb height or where there is a fall risk. We follow BS 4211 and the client’s safety requirements.
Which standard do fixed ladders follow?
Fixed ladders and access platforms are usually designed to BS EN ISO 14122, which covers ladders, stairs, platforms and guardrails for access to plant.
When does a fixed ladder need a cage or fall arrest?
